Dr Yusof – Rheumatologist and Senior Research Fellow
One of Dr Yusof’s interests is Sjögren’s disease. As well as chairing the meeting, he will be telling us about some current research projects.

Nicola Chantler – Communications Manager at Wren Project The Wren Project is a place where individuals, diagnosed with autoimmune disease, can talk about the emotional and social impact of living with a chronic condition. It is a place free from judgement or advice. It is a place to feel heard as you are, validated in your experience
Dr Melanie Sloan – Lead Researcher with the Inspire Project This ongoing research project has focused on neuropsychiatric symptoms in systemic autoimmune diseases. It has also looked into whether patients are asked about such symptoms by e.g. their rheumatologist and have asked clinicians to rank the value given to 13 different types of evidence used in the diagnosis of neuropsychiatric lupus. Dr Sloan will share some findings from this project.
Dr Gordon Ingle – Neurologist
Dr Ingle’s interests include autonomic Neurology and multiple sclerosis. He has spoken before at a patient conference about autonomic neuropathy and POTS in Sjögren’s disease.

A well as offering a short Q & A session after each talk, the conference will end with a popular ‘Talking Head’ session where you will get the chance to ask the panel questions
