Spotlight on Sjögren’s – A Patient-Centered Real-World Study

We’re pleased to share insights from Spotlight on Sjögren’s, a new international real-world study exploring the lived experiences of 1,155 people with Sjögren’s disease.

Developed in collaboration with the patient community and supported by Novartis, the study aims to deepen understanding of the burden of disease, unmet needs, and treatment satisfaction — all from a patient-centered perspective.

Presented at EULAR (European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology) 2025, the findings shine a light on key challenges faced by those living with Sjögren’s:

  • The physical and emotional impact of the disease on daily life (Abstract 761)
  • Low satisfaction with current therapies and a mismatch between physician and patient treatment goals (Abstract 774)

All materials are publicly accessible and fully compliant with EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations) and EULAR communication guidelines.
