I’ve had Sjogrens for 5 years. My main problem apart from dry mouth, eyes and nose is my swallowing. I have had to liquidise my food now as was choking a lot on whole foods. This completely changes one’s life, no meals out, no weddings can I accept, or big social events due to not eating normally. One doesn’t want to have to explain “why” all the time and spoilt the event❗️I a now “wobbly” and had to give m my scooter which I’ve rides for 50 years. Suddenly got a weak hand❓❓But I enjoy family history and lots of research, and writing a few poems❗️And visiting my local city of Durham, and charity shops❗️😉 We can’t let this horrid disease get us down, we MUST keep going❗️Hence my Coffee and Chat group👍
